 VIASAT GeoTechnologies can offer a complete automated solution to facilitate the
data collection of timber cruise for prescriptions and controls related
to silvicultural cutting treatments of commercial timber (commercial harvest) compiled using the
TIGE application from Quebec's ministry of natural resources and
wildlife (MRNF).
This solution comprises the following three components:
To round out our solution, the MRNF's TIGE application, also
known as Win TIGE, is needed for the various compilations. A digital
sample plan creation utility (ESR Shape file) is a useful component but not mandatory.
